In 2018, during a passionate conversation about our careers and ambitions, we got the spark to create our dream work experience. We wanted connection, flexibility, personalization, and the ability to focus on performance (without distractions). We knew this would be no easy task, but when unlocked we would see both personal and professional growth. After spending months studying and building our own workstyles, we decided we wanted to help others solve this puzzle as well. Working is a skill, and these days, a lifestyle. We made it our mission to empower organizations and individuals to create a personalized work experience that unlocks optimal flow and fulfillment.

  • Emily Kaplan

    FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

    Emily leads the client strategy and people operations for Align.

    Emily is an experienced corporate leader with expertise and passion for people and leadership. Her previous 9-year career at Chipotle Mexican Grill focused on building brands and scaling cultures and processes during the height of their expansion and growth.

  • Brian Zuercher

    FOUNDER & CEO

    Brian leads the product and analytics development and deployment for Align.

    Brian is an experienced entrepreneur that has taken businesses from funding to exit. Most recently Brian founded and led SEEN, a marketing analytics firm. SEEN was acquired by ICX Media in 2018.

At ALIGN, we believe that work is not a place you go. It is a state of mind. We think work should be one purposeful piece of a fulfilling life, so we are helping companies optimize their work experience. As the world becomes increasingly mobilized through technology people have more choice in when, where, and how they work.
